Bees, Bees, Bees

Son and husband hard at work building a safe place for our bees to live. It's next to the lake so they'll have easy access to water. It's mainly a deterrent for any critter who may consider causing havoc - bears, skunks, dogs, sheep, people. Hopefully our livestock guardian, Josie, will keep larger opportunists out of the general area as always. Our queen and her minions arrived on Friday night and are getting settled in. Mainly it's willows, cherries, Saskatoon, and honey berries that are flowering now. It's quite a late spring but finally warming up. The Apple trees will be blooming any day. The adventure begins.
